Find the best deals on flights to Hawaii. Her friendly atmosphere and laid
back way make Hawaii one of the most sought out places in the world to vacation. Air travel to Hawaii is
convenient with regular flight departures from most major airports within the United States as well as
outside the continental United States. Getting to Hawaii can be affordable if you follow some simple guidelines.
Here is how it works.. Sunday, Monday morning, Thursday after 12pm and Friday are the busiest days to
travel. As a result, you may not find cheap flights during these peak travel days. Airlines know that they can sell out seats during peak
travel and they're less likely to discount seats at this time when they know they can get full fare. Monday noon through Thursday noon is
when you will find the best available airfares. Also, some experts believe that airlines tend to release sales Monday morning and that
by Monday evening or Tuesday mid-day at the latest, most airlines are on board. This is why it is best to search for the cheapest flights
early in the week, the earlier the better. This is not to say that you won't find good deals (on good flights) if you book your flights
later in the week or even on weekends for off-peak travel days. It's just that the earlier you start looking, the better. If you don't mind
traveling red eye, meaning overnight flights, airfares will be lower during this time as well. Also, occasionally you'll find deals
on Saturday. When flying on Saturday, evenings are always better. Also, if you decide to travel during the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas,
don't expect to find any deals. Most airlines will have blackout dates during the holidays, which usually means you're not going to fly
when you really want to. Also, most airlines require a 14 day advance purchase to get the best available airfares, so book early. Follow
these simple guidelines to have the best chance at finding the best deals on airfares. These are general guidelines that apply to airfare
only so be sure to check all available flights for pricing and information. Tip: When you book Air Only (no land), try adding
a car as the airfare may be lower. This can be a throw away car for one day, that you don't even need to pick up.
Hawaii has basically two seasons.., summer (May through October) and winter (November through April). The northeastern sides
of the islands are generally cooler, windier and get more rain than the southwest sides. Consequently, most (not all) of the more popular
Hotels and resorts are found on the western and southwestern shores the islands. The dry season is generally from April through October with the most
pleasant weather during April, May, September and October. This is at the beginning and the end of the dry season and this is also when you will
find the best deals.
The peak travel seasons are.. (mid December to mid April) and (mid June through August). If you plan to travel during these peak seasons, and you are
looking for 4 and 5 star hotels, it is always better to book your Hawaii vacations well in advance. You may not get the better rates that are generally available during the
off-season, but at least you'll have some peace of mind knowing that your vacation is planned and you won't be rushed to find something last minute,
that may not be available. We always recommend planning your vacation 2 to 4 months in advance for peak travel seasons. If you plan to travel during the
last week in December, it is best to begin planning your vacation 6 months in advance.

Here is some general information about weather temperatures, seasons and climate zones found in the Islands.
For more accurate, up to date, weather information, please contact the local weather service in Hawaii. Generally speaking
the weather in Hawaii is fairly consistent throughout the year with only slight variations in temperature from summer to winter.
The daytime temperature throughout the year is 80 degrees. Nights are about 10 degrees cooler. Hawaii has basically two seasons,
summer (May to October) and winter (November to April). The northeastern sides of the islands are generally cooler,
windier and get more rain than the southwest sides.
On average, the daytime temperature during the summer is about 85 degrees
and temps during the winter about 78 degrees, at sea level. Hawaii gets her fair share of rain and on any given
day it may rain two or three times a day, mainly during the winter months. Generally rain is localized, so if
you find yourself setting on the beach when suddenly it begins to rain, just wait it out, let the clouds move
through and the sun shine once again. If you can't wait, a 30-minute drive from wherever it's raining could have you
enjoying warm sunny weather once again. Although the temperature remains fairly consistent throughout the year,
Hawaii has as many different climate zones as exist along the entire west coast all the way from Alaska to Costa Rica.
Hawaii's climate zones range from tropics to deserts. While the entire chain of Islands encompass a vast range of climate zones,
the Big Island Hawaii is perhaps the most unique. The Big Island Hawaii's scenery covers the total spectrum complete with Hawaii lava flows,
snow capped peaks, high sea cliffs, rain forest, lush coastal valleys, deserts and rolling pastures. Use your sun block liberally,
and bring your hat and sunglasses when visiting the Mountains and Volcanoes. Enjoy..
